Detective Work DIY Style!

Ever had that weird someone always calling you at the middle of the night, breathing down the phone or sending you random messages from an unknown number- otherwise also known as a stalker?

I'm not sure if everyone has figured this, but there's a way to check who the caller is, given that the number is a mobile number from maxis. By just helping the culprit pay a minimum RM5 for his/her bill at the payment machines of any maxis centre, you can get the name of your stalker on the receipt printed. A very generous return for a very frustrating situation, if you know what I mean!

Other service providers might also be possible, but from personal experience maxis works 100%, I've also heard from my friend that you can use this same trick at banks, which worries me sometimes for the level of security of personal information.

The funny thing about all of this is how easy the identity of the caller can be obtained, considering it's impossible for maxis to release that bit of information to you unless you make a police report, and if you make a police report, the police is going to have to take your phone from you as evidence, a seriously troublesome feat for just a name.

So if you have a stalker, I hope you track down that bugger!! and Good luck.

If You Wanted A Subaru

These are the untold pains of owning a car; the basic maintenance of it when the time comes.

If you so happen to always wanted a Subaru, and to own it along the years when the parts are due. For reference and sharing purposes, I've uploaded a few receipts of services.

With reference to the uploaded pictures, you can find the estimated prices for a timing belt change and the additional items needed and a usual engine oil change. Before sending it for servicing, the car was long overdue for a belt change as the last change was more than 3 years ago and the engine idle was a bit unstable.

I should have taken some pictures of the timing belt that they took out, it's a huge fella compared to the toyota I've been driving before this. The workshop is well known for their passion, professionalism and for knowledge for Subarus, and I'll recommend it to anyone driving any brands of cars, as they will entertain any cars apart from trucks and buses aside.

Next service, will be all the fluids including LSD oil, Gearbox oil etc... Hopefully it won't cost a bomb!!
